Why Santiago?

  1. Racing.

I started competing in mountain biking when I was around 9.

I have basically grown up racing.

    2026 National Championship

    E-Junior Expert

Today, I race for Pivot Chile and compete in the Chilean National Championship in E-Junior Expert.

Right now, I am leading the championship.

I like competition because there is nowhere to hide. You either improve or you don't.

  2. Working.

I learned a lot by putting myself in completely different kinds of work.

    February 2024

    Tennessee, USA

    Reforestation & Trail Work

My days were spent outside planting trees and working on trails.

On planting days, I planted around 150 trees a day.

I also cleared trails and helped repair damaged sections.

The thing I liked was that at the end of the day, you could actually see what you had done.

    December 2024

    Agrícola Nueva Esperanza

    Chillán, Chile

From Fruit Arrival to Truck Departure

I worked with cherries from the moment they arrived.

I counted the fruit, separated it by variety, cooled it, and followed the process until it left by truck for the packing facility.

It was the first time I really saw how many small things have to work correctly for a simple operation to move.

    December 2025

    Puclaro

    Coquimbo, Chile

    Patrolling Citrus Farms

I patrolled citrus farms and responded when guards had problems in different properties.

Some days were calm. Other days something happened and I had to move and deal with it.

I liked that it wasn't exactly the same every day.

  3. Selling.

I started trying to sell things when I was pretty young.

    Age 11

    Eggs

    At 11, I sold eggs.

    Age 16

    Lemons and cherimoya

At 16, I sold lemons and cherimoya.

They were obviously not big businesses.

I just liked figuring out if I could find something people wanted and actually sell it.

That idea has stayed with me.

  4. Teaching.

    I also teach mountain biking.

Teaching changed the way I see life.

When you know how to do something, it can feel obvious.

Then you try to explain it to someone else and realize it isn't obvious at all.

Teaching has made me pay much more attention to how people learn, where they get stuck, and how different people need different explanations.

  5. Creating.

    TikTok / Content

I started posting videos because I liked making them.

At some point, I realized I was also learning what makes someone stop scrolling and actually watch something.

    Some videos did almost nothing.

Others reached hundreds of thousands or more than a million views.

That made me curious about why some ideas spread and others don't.

    Realdep

Realdep is something I am building right now.

    The problem started with Airbnb.

Airbnb was made so an owner could rent and manage their own place.

But today, many owners give everything to a management company.

When that happens, they can lose visibility and have to wait until the end of the month to understand how the property is actually doing.

I thought there should be a better way to see what is happening in real time.

That is what I am trying to build with Realdep.

    Currently in development.

    Independent Learning

For eight months, I had one-on-one classes with a private teacher.

We talked about finance, how companies work, why a company exists, where it is trying to go, and how decisions should connect back to that purpose.

I liked learning this way because I could ask about things I was actually curious about instead of waiting for them to appear in school.

  6. Solving problems.

    Cerro Grande Safety Project

    La Serena, Chile — 2026

I train at Cerro Grande all the time.

I kept seeing people walking up mountain-bike trails, including trails with blind corners where riders can be going pretty fast.

One day, I almost hit someone.

At first, I posted about it because I was frustrated.

Then I thought complaining about it wasn't going to change anything.

So I started working on a solution.

I put together a proposal for better signage, clearer trail use, warning signs, and a map at the entrance.

I also found someone willing to help pay for the basic materials.

Then I sent the project formally to the Municipality of La Serena.

Right now, I am waiting for their response.
